Fruity Golden Raisins Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 cup golden raisins

- 1 cup water (for diluting the drink mix)

- 1-2 packets of BioSteel electrolyte drink mix (or to taste, depending on how strong you want the flavor)

- A squeeze of lemon juice (for added sourness, optional)


Instructions:

1. In a small bowl, mix the BioSteel electrolyte drink mix with water according to the packet’s instructions. Adjust the amount of water if you desire a stronger taste. Add the lemon juice if you're using it.

2. Place the golden raisins in the mixture and stir until they’re fully coated.

3. Allow the raisins to soak in the liquid for about 1 hour; this will help them absorb the flavor. Stir occasionally.

4. After soaking, drain the raisins, reserving the liquid. Spread the raisins out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Preheat your oven to the lowest setting (usually around 170°F or 75°C) or use a dehydrator if you have one.

6. Place the baking sheet in the oven. Let the raisins dehydrate for 4-6 hours, checking every hour. They should be dry to the touch but still chewy. If using a dehydrator, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for drying fruits.

7. During the dehydration process, you can optionally brush the raisins with the reserved electrolyte mixture every hour to intensify the flavor.

8. Once dehydrated to your liking, remove the raisins from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

9. Store the flavored raisins in an airtight container.
